Teething..urrrg OR

family walk and bubbles at the park , an awesome nap;  cuddling while 

watching  fashion shows on style network; FaceTime with 'sister' and 

listening to her  play ode to joy by Beethoven on her recorder and showing you the lip gloss and glitter lotion she's holding on for you..eeeishhh 

'painting' momom's nails; singing along to one of your favorites, never getting back together ( thanks taylor swift) over and over and over.. 

these are the things we did in addition to the horrible fever, lethargy and full on meltdowns. so from my perspective I think we dealt with this teething situation quite well today, Yes?

..at your age is really your day, because to you it's just another day to eat breakfast and start exclaiming "outside outside". and so to appease your unbridled spirit and celebrate momom, we had a lovely day at the beach. one of many days that had moments that make me feel like the luckiest and most blessed momom to have you as my babes. moments such as these..

after picking up some amazing yums yums at con pane and five guys, we were off for an amazing day at the beach. it was truly my favorite mother's day yet. thank you for making every day feel like a celebration babes. you're the best.

I love sharing my birthday with your 19mos milestone. just another mama & baby special moment. and by now you know I LOVE birthdays. it's all your grandpa aka kulu's fault. the man knew how to make a big deal about all our birthdays. thankfully I celebrate all month, because mama missing kulu kind of put a damper on things yesterday. thankfully I have the best sisters and brother that completely got it, and talked me off the teary shed.. the best. PS we LOVE Facetime..

 

but the best gift all year is watching my babes growing into her own, even though it comes with a huge side dish of sass, and a glass of boundless energy and lots of hugs and kisses (my favorite).
