oh happy day..

pretty much an awesome weekend all around. what's better than Friday night out with the girls and then Sunday afternoon pool party with other girls and sweets babes???!!! hearing my sweet babes voice start singing 'oh happy day..' as she sits patiently in her stroller as momom jogs her over to go play.. 

and the best part was when I joined you, slightly breathless we sung all the way..best 30min jog EVER. I do love that your favorite part of the song is 'fight and pray..' which you of course do with the punch-fight, and the hand clasp-pray. you're officially a prayer warrior. you're too much babes, too much.

I wuv momom

the highlight of my week has been you starting to say ' I wuv you momom' and finishing my sentence -momom ' you're my favorite baby.. zoe ' in a whoa wor'- in the whole world. and I needed that this week. there has been so much sadness around me this week and in me too. times like this make me miss your grandpa even more. which is actually a good thing because besides being sad, I'm also more poignantly grateful for those that I do have. your grandfather in death keeps teaching what you teach me in life. you two have been my best teachers of life these past years and so yes I get super verklempt when I hear 'I wuv you momom'. such sweet reason to not be sad for too long, and know and trust that God's grace light and love is always there. so thank you babes for bringing his light love and grace in those three little words.

...are the best!! enough sunlight in the day for you to be 'outside' as much as you obviously LOVE to. it sure seems like you're having a ball, and nothing beats ending the day with you sitting in your carseat exclaiming 'happy day' 'happy baby'. it sure makes it all worth it:)) love my babes
